However, we recognise it is sometimes hard to know where to start, so here we have shared some examples and ideas to help you consider what might suit you. If you have a few extra days, you can also always add on an interlude on the beautiful East Africa coast to any trip.

This wonderfully immersive wilderness adventure takes you on an active exploration of the diverse landscapes of northern Kenya with a mix of wildlife, culture and different landscapes. On this trip you will spend time in three stunning areas: Laikipia, the Matthews Range and then up to the desert area of Lake Turkana. Currently priced as an eleven-night safari for six adults this trip can be adapted for up to ten guests or for families. The total estimated price for this trip based on six adults sharing, and travelling in Feb 2026 is US$71,975.

EXPLORING KENYA: LAIKIPIA AND THE NORTH TO LAKE TURKANA
A wonderful experience of wildlife in Kenya, this lovely and moderately priced journey through Kenya begins with some exploration of Nairobi before heading north to Laikipia, back to Nairobi for a night, then southwards to Amboseli – at the foot of the iconic Mt Kilimanjaro – before finishing on the beach in Watamu. Currently designed as a 14-night safari for six adults travelling in August 2026, this trip can be adapted for up to ten pax or for families, or a couple. The estimated price based on six adults is US$33,515.

A SAFARI THROUGH KENYA: NORTH TO SOUTH & THE BEACH
This trip takes you on an exclusive safari to some of the most beautiful wildlife areas of Kenya. You will visit three different conservancies (Enasoit, Ol Malo and in the Maasai Mara) with lovely camps and high standards of service at each. A flying visit to the Reteti Elephant Orphanage is included along with a visit to the last of the Northern White Rhino species at Ol Pejeta. You may wish to add a Hot Air Balloon experience in the Maasai Mara or a helicopter excursion to the Suguta Valley & Northern Frontier. Currently designed as an 11-night trip for six adults with an estimated price for July 2026 of US$135,335, this trip can be expanded to ten pax with the current camps proposed or reduced to a special two-person trip.

AN IMMERSIVE FAMILY SAFARI IN KENYA
This is a special trek on the slopes of iconic Mt Kenya and a highly recommended way to explore the mountain, including its beautiful lakes, before attempting to summit Pt Lenana. Of course if you prefer a technical climb, the peaks of Batian or Nelion will provide a good challenge, Starting with two nights at Rutundu Log Cabins, to allow you to acclimatise and enjoy the lakes, the trip continues with 5 nights camping on the mountain as you head up to the third peak at 4,985m. Currently designed as an 8-night safari for six adults, this trip can be adapted for up to 8 pax or for families, or for a couple. The estimated price based on six adults in Feb 2026 is US$24,500.

EXPLORING MT KENYA
This trip is a wonderful combination of incredible scenery and fantastic wildlife. In the first section, you will walk up the side of the Great Rift Valley from Lake Natron and across the Sale Plains to the Gol Mountains. It offers some of the most spectacular views imaginable and an opportunity to step back in time and walk in the footsteps of mankind. After this you move to the Southern Serengeti during the Wildebeest Migration when the wildebeest are calving, and finish with a visit to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater. Currently designed as a nine-night trip for six adults travelling in February 2026, the estimated price is US$40,975. Note costs may be lower depending on the ages of children in your group.

TREKKING IN THE GREAT RIFT VALLEY & SOUTHERN SERENGETI, TANZANIA
A thrilling adventure that combines fishing on the Rufiji River with an exciting opportunity to witness the Great Migration in Northern Serengeti during the calving season and lots of big cats in Central Serengeti. Designed as a 13-night safari for six adults, this itinerary gives a wonderful experience of Tanzania for smaller groups, families or a couple. The estimated price based on six adults is US$126,845.

FABULOUS FISHING & THE WILDEBEEST MIGRATION IN TANZANIA
There is nothing quite like seeing Gorillas in the wild. This trip is a short module with more moderately priced camps, that takes you to see these majestic animals in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda. It could be done on its own or as part of a wider trip to eastern Africa. Currently designed as a four-night safari for six adults, this itinerary can be adapted for up to eight pax or for families with children aged 16 years or older. The estimated price, based on travel in August 2026, is US$28,560 (US$4,760 per person).

There are lots of activities included, and yet more that you can add to suit your interests.
